About Me

My name is Giorgos (George) Bliatsios.

After more than a decade working with world class teams in consulting, trading technology and banking (including First Derivative, PwC, Numerix, AIB and Citi), I kept seeing proof of something important: the most valuable skill wasn’t building complex systems. It was making complex ideas simple enough to use every day. I founded Phronesis to turn that skill into a service.

At its heart, Phronesis is about making data, analytics and technology work for people, not the other way around. It’s about building solutions that are relevant, practical and useful.

My work has always been rooted in understanding what teams need to stay aligned on the bigger picture, to feel confident in the decisions they make and use tools and processes that make life easier, not harder.

That’s where I come in. With a BSc in Mathematics, an MSc in Financial Mathematics, years of experience in data analytics and a deep understanding of real world challenges, I deliver solutions that are efficient, right-sized and human centered.

I don’t believe in reinventing the wheel. I believe in making it roll better.

My approach is simple. Most of my capacity is dedicated  to businesses who value pragmatism and results. A defined 20% of my time goes to charities, NGOs, foundations or social enterprises at no cost.

When I am not the right fit, I will say so. Where I can, I will point you toward someone better suited.

Why? Because doing good and doing smart business should coexist. And because the right solution matters more than being the one to sell it.

I’m here for those without a team of analysts, but with hundreds of decisions to make. For those buried in workarounds, who don’t yet know better is possible. For those invisible to software giants.
